DIY : Pom Pom Flowers

I am into making crochet and cute stuffs with woolen yarn these days. Today being saturday, literally a break from tension and work, I chose to do something beautiful with wool. I was bored to do crochet though. So with the help of craftgawker, I found a way to do Pom Pom Flowers.

I captured this picture last month. Today while experimenting with lights and shawdows , I tried few changes to the picture's  lighting + shadows . WoOW ! The result was picture perfect. I love trying out different things in photo editing.

In My Studio : Rain in Chennai

I launching a new project today for the random pictures I take each day. I have named this project "In my Studio". Since few photos are processed and few are posted directly from my camera, I felt this name would be appropriate.


Rains in Chennai is very rare. Today it is raining and the hot temperature has subsided. I made it a point to spend some time to feel the rain. After so many months, I felt the  chillness of rain drops. It was a amazing experience. So I am journal ling it here.


 With a cup of Joe in hand and boosting confidence I am starting this project.

Flowers in Pink : Photographic Post

After a long time,  I am back to wrtie something here. I have loads and loads of post to share but I take time to do the same. My full time job sucks all my time and energy these days that I go directly to bed when home from office. Since this weekend is a long weekend, I am back.

I clicked few beautiful pink flowers in my aunt's garden. Flowers are always pleasant to eyes.

Tamil New Year Lunch

This is yet another late post. This is to showcase what all I cooked for Tamil New year. The Lunch was yummy and delicious.

I made more than 12 dishes. All traditional Tamil dishes which turned out to be tastiest lunch.

We dumped ourselves with these exotic dishes and celebrated the day.

Project 365 : Collector 's Office

I love the court road in my hometown, where one can see old, beautiful buildings. This is the Collector's Office which was painted blue all over. It was lovely to capture this building when I was out for a jolly car ride.

Weekend Outing

Last weekend, we went to a couple of places to relax. My hubby booked tickets for the movie "3". You know what, we went for morning show after a  long time since Endhiran. That morning, we had huge mug of milo and went to watch the movie.

The movie was fine. The first half was lovey dovey and comedy was in track and entertaining. During interval, we both were more disciplined and didnt go out  to the snacks bar.

Second half of the movie was horrible. We were very hungry and hurried to nearby resturant "Vasantha Bhavan" After having meals and a cup of hot coffee, I clicked few fantastic clicks there. The reception area had vibrant colours.

My hubby loved each of the pictures I took. Rest of the day went on with organising and shopping.

Bike Rides, Shaky Photography and me

I love night bike rides. I go for  long bike rides whenever I feel happy. When I was a kid, my dad takes me to school by bike whenever our car is not available. My school pick ups and drops are always car rides and rarely bike rides. I feel like I rule the world when the cool hastly wind tear through my face during a powerful speed bike rides.

During my teens, myself and my brother go for long bike rides and have a couple of fresh juices in our favourite fresh juice shop. I admire his steady speedy rides without any doubts on balance. I just fly with him.

After marriage, my day 2 day rides and trips are on bikes. The rides never sour. My hubby's patience towards my bike ride craziness is very much appreciated. Some times we try new routes to go home. We enjoy snacks stops, vechile less roads, good climate ,etc

He usually asks me to sing his favourite songs during the bike rides. Our biking are always romantic.

Beating heat in between a bike ride

I love talking pictures when riding pillion. I have loads and loads of such photography in my hard disk. I love looking at those sweet shaky photograph after few days, months or years. Bike rides are turn on which in second boost the positive attitude in me.

I love bikes and I love riding bikes. I just long yet fast traffic free bike rides. Wow
