My fascination towards Barbies

People close to me know my love towards Barbie dolls. From my childhood, I have grown seeing and playing with these beautiful, slim beauties. According to me Barbies are very well dressed, cute and a great inspiration to all girls.

Last week, I was in a toy shop checking out a variety of such beauties in Barbie section. I love Barbie's sister Kelly too.

Apart from dolls, accessories for girls were also found there. I have nearly 7 to 8 Barbie dolls with me. In future, if I give birth to baby girl, I am sure I will fill the whole house full of Barbies and Barbie house and sets.

I love Barbie..

Having a Bucket List.

Bucket List is the list of things one wishes to do before he/she kicks the bucket.

I am planning to make a list of things I wish to do before my end of life. I have got 2 or 3 items to the lists so far. So I will be posting a Bucket list here very soon

I dont want all small things to the list. I want the item which needs my courage, commitment and confidence to complete it.

Let me keep thinking and add reasonable list. Writing this in my blog will really induce me to make such a good list.

For silly yet worthy things to do in life I have 101 things in 1001 days also in parallel.

Let me start and want each and everyone who reads this also to start making a Bucket list because life is worth living. These things make us feel we have had a satisfised life.

Cheers!

Dragon fancy

Dragons are famous among people who have craze towards Tattoos. right?

On a fine movie night, I and my hubby were watching Hangover II. One of the scenes features a tattoo studio. Only then my hubby revealed his desire to have a dragon design tattooed painted on his chest.  Tattoos are not his thing. And he wanted me to do the same for him. I was thrilled.

The next day, I started collecting dragon designs from the Internet. I chose 2 to 3 in particular. Then I like this one the most. Then I practised the same in my marker board. I snapped the same too.

I bought Mehendi cone when I came home from office. I gave him a sweet suprise when he was back from work. He was smiling and admiring my interest in doing things he love. Finally I drew the dragon design on his chest. He loved my design and he was a happy man.

I always love being with him. We have fun together. These may be petty acts but our bond grows stronger. We enjoy each others' company all day. I treasure these kind of fun and happy moments  in a save chest (my heart) and a copy (sometimes) in this journal.

A Filmy Day Out

Last week , myself and hubby planned to call an off. We didn't have much of "our" time /Date in recent times, hence the decision. We had few household works and started of our footloose ride round the city.

A small aqaurium near the mall

As usual, we went to Gangotree to have creamy yummy strawberry milkshake. Then we went to Abirami Mall. This was the first time we went there. It was a small mall when compared to EA , Spencers and PVR. It was crowdy too. We decided to watch a movie named "Muran". We had a nice time together and enjoyed each scene together.

Then we came down to have some thing to eat as we didnt pack our lunch. We chose Chennai Noodle House. There were varaities of food outlets. But we chose Chennai Noodle House.

I ordered Chilli Garlic Noodle along with Gobi Manchurian. After placing the order, my hubby rushed to our table with two small papers in hand and gave to me. "OMG" Those were tickets to a movie called "Vedi". I was suprised. He said let be together for another 4 hours. We rarely get such happy long hours together alone. We loved those moments and want more time together.

Food was awesome. I love the combination we ordered and rushed to the screen which played "Vedi" . Though movie was an average flick, we thoroughly enjoyed the movie and each other making fun of the movie, munching pop corns.

I really admired the artwork done over the ceiling wall. Arty and classy. I felt screens were good but the stairs, lift , path to each floor are narrow and are prone to accidents. This should be considered by the management.

We were already tired but wanted to go a big ride. So from Purasivakkam we went to TNagar and then to our home. Long, speedy, cool bike ride.

We enjoyed. Thank you N for such a lovely date. Love you N.

Steve Jobs : A Job well done.

Few years back , I dont know who Steve Jobs was, until I saw his speech video for Stanford students. An amazing, provoking, motivating speech was spectated by students who were lucky to see him and listen to him.

I admired him. I felt sad on his death and wanted to give respect to him. Hence this post. I made clay flowers and a so called half bit apple.

Hats off to you!

Planning to get an ipad or Mac book to respect you and enjoy your creation. Love you. Thank you.

PS I have never used an Apple product but in future I will use them for sure.

My New Smart phone!

I have been pesting my hubby for a good smartphone. Last week, my hubby asked what features were all required by me. I asked for  a good camera and few other features. Hubby said ok and he started to check prices with many mobile dealers while me being in office. I was thrilled.  I kept searching for an apt mobile and found one and messaged him the model name and the colour I want "jet black".

After exhaustive work, I boarded the bus home. On my way to home, he asked me to get down near our usual resturant and also told me he is tired and hungry searching for a good deal to buy my mobile. He also added he has dropped the idea of getting me this high end mobile as it is exceeding his budget.

I got irriated to the core and with huge disappointment, I got down to the resturant. I thought of stuffing more into my stomach to raise the resturant bill ;). I stepped into the resturant and noticed my hubby. He said sorry that he was made to drop the plan of buying me the phone. Reluctantly , I grabbed his bag to stuff my lunch box to make him carry home ;). To my suprise, I saw my SAMSUNG GALAXY FIT sitting inside the bag smiling at me. Yipee I got my new SMART PHONE....

I ♥  my phone

The happy me with my phone :)

My Mom 's coffee

Amma's Filter Kappi

My one of the most incurable addiction is towards Coffee. I just love coffee. The aroma and taste of this drink brings freshness to me in the early hours of the mornings. I run for coffee whenever I get severe headaches/tiredness
The most wonderful coffee is made by my mom. This has typical south indian coffee taste, called Filter Kappi. She always makes a point to make coffee for with with medium heat, lots of bubble. I love the coffee made by my mom.

I share my previous day moments, present day plans with my mom in  mornings around 5.30 am in our dinning hall. Love those special moments..

Making coffee is an art. Not everyone can make perfect coffee. Being admist of coffeee addicts, I also never end a day without this elixir!

The next best coffee is the Cappicino and Cold Coffee.

Turtles!

On an afternoon , when I entered the cafeteria of my office ,there was a huge rush in a stall like setup. I was not able to figure out what is the stall for. I moved past the crowd and stod in the queue to collect my bill for lunch.

Meanwhile , I noticed a large screen showcasing the popular event called " Turtle Walk" . It was all about how they go in search of turtle eggs , preserve them and hatch them and return them back to the sea. It was wonderful but I was wondering how big the egg would be!

I had a HSB North Indian Thalli . Lunch time is always a fun time for me. I have my lunch with my whole team. I enjoy lunch each day with my team. Fun! We fought for sweet as usual. Lunch was over.

By the time, the crowd in the so called stall was moderate. I peeked into the crowd and to my surprise , the stall had a rectangular glass tank with tiny tiny turtles which were around 20 to 30 days . The stall was to let us know how the turtle should be handled, how it behaves when we have it in our hand.

I hand all the turtles in my hand and adored their color , softness  and naughtiness. Lovely turtles. We took photos of ours with turtles and had a temparory tattoo of a turtle in Red colour. I even got a ticket for ocean jumping etc. But was not interested as that was tsunami time in Japan.

I enjoyed that afternoon. Here are the pictures of turtle with  myself.

Cute rite.???!!

Lets support a cause.
Lets Turtle Walk.

Festival season!

After a long break, I'm blogging. I had lots of experience in this break. Festival season is around. Christmas is gone, but the colours, lights, sweets are all present everywhere. From the childhood, I have a small desire during this season. Buying and decorating a christmas tree. So my mom bought me a chirstmas tree. Now it is more than 8 feet. My mom and me even purchase small decoratives which are cute and attractive with bright colours.

Mom we need to do this one day."Decorating a chirstmas tree"

Happy Christmas readers!
