An old Sound of music in our hall.

Still the shine and music exists.

Flooded Chennai

Last two days' rain has made Chennai a flooded city. No roads are visible. Differentiation on shallow area, ditches, speed breakers were all filled with water. Muddy roads are more prone to accidents too.
Last week a bike rider skidded and got ran over by a bus. Witnessing such thing made me capture few picutres of the city and showcase it on my blog.

Proper arranged are required to clear water off the road. We people should make a change. Else infections, accidents , sufferings will rule us

Activity 100 : Cute Curtains

My mom selects the best  for our home. One such is the curtain which has spectacular thread works. It just filters the heavy sun rays into our house. The chosen colour  suits the pale green walls.

Dragon fancy

Dragons are famous among people who have craze towards Tattoos. right?

On a fine movie night, I and my hubby were watching Hangover II. One of the scenes features a tattoo studio. Only then my hubby revealed his desire to have a dragon design tattooed painted on his chest.  Tattoos are not his thing. And he wanted me to do the same for him. I was thrilled.

The next day, I started collecting dragon designs from the Internet. I chose 2 to 3 in particular. Then I like this one the most. Then I practised the same in my marker board. I snapped the same too.

I bought Mehendi cone when I came home from office. I gave him a sweet suprise when he was back from work. He was smiling and admiring my interest in doing things he love.Finally I drew the dragon design on his chest. He loved my design and he was a happy man.

I always love being with him. We have fun together.These may be petty acts but our bond grows stronger. We enjoy each others' company all day. I treasure these kind of fun and happy moments  in a save chest (my heart) and a copy (sometimes) in this journal.

Activity 100 : Ghanera

On a summer day, captured these flowers to my laptop. The name of these flowers is 'Ghanera'. In Tamil,we say 'Arali'. I googled to learn its English name.

We grow all kind of flowering plants in our garden. I love flowers.

Rain made our day...

As usual, I got ready for work and suddenly my hubbie said he would drop me in my office. I was happy as I like bike rides and being with my man. As we started to work by bike, rain started. It was just drizzles till half way. I was enjoying the climate, talking and laughing enjoying the ride , though we were heading to office.

In few minutes, we were drenched by heavy downpour and was not able to proceed ahead. So we parked the bike side by to the road and stood under my umberlla. After 45 minutes, It was all over and sky was clear. So we started towards my work place.

Again it all started and we decided to go home. When we decided it was nearly noon and headed to Nallas , a resturant we always go when in OMR. We ordered our favourite foods and had a hot, yummy lunch.

We went home. we had rest after escaping work load presure for that day. By evening we booked ticket for a tamil film "Velayudham". We already saw "7am Arivu" so 'no other way' choice is Velayudham. After the film, we clicked few photos with our favorite hero, heroine posters, munched yummy snacks and headed back home.

Activity 100 : My Clipboard

This picture stands as an evidence for my genes which gave me good handwriting. =)

I was practising sketching my country's outline when I took this photo. I drew the sketch on our bay . Then It was decorated by flowers, salt and leaves , with colours representing our flag.

I love music and treasure this book. I wanted my mom to write all the kritiks and Geetham in her hand writing along with my grandmom's.
