Sivaji: The Boss (Tamil: சிவாஜி) is a Tamil language film, directed by n
oted director, S. Shankar. It stars Rajinikanth, Shriya Saran, Vivek and Suman in the lead roles with Nayantara, Manivannan, Raghuvaran and Shankar himself in other pivotal roles. The movie was subsequently dubbed into the Telugu language and released. The film's score and soundtrack was written by acclaimed composer, A. R. Rahman, with lyrics from four lyricists. The film, prior to release, gave rise to great expectations due to the number of high-profile artists involved with its creation. The post-production stage was completed towards the end of March and an official trailer was released late in May 2007. The movie was released on June 15, 2007 in approximately 2,900 theatres in 47 countries,[5] after several postponements, and has opened to rave reviews.
The film re-wrote several Indian box-office records prior to release. It is the costliest production to date with 102 crores; a t

The entry of Our Super star was excellent and the first half was full enjoyment and didnt score much.
But the second half was perfect rajini score and the re- entry is very good. His appearance was too good .
The songs have come out very well. A.R.R (King of Music ) Proved himself . Picturisation was really good.

the settings and costumes have been taken care marvellously throughout the film.

But they cud have reduced so much good artists in small role any way the film is going to b a hit
WELL Done SHankar. And AVM has done their best in spending .Given grand and mind blowing settings ..................................................................

ive seen the movie on the first day. it rocks. rajni's fanship is growin like anything in andhra. i suppose its been released more num of theatres in Hyderabad than in chennai ;)
Hey i Liked the movie but it dint turn up 2 my expectation , i watched this in Telugu.
i felt this is gud rajnikantha movie but aan average Shanker Movie ....
but it was an out right rajini movie ..[:d]
just enjoyed the second half i dint enjoy Rajinis parents and rajini woooing Shreya .. it was kinda boring 2 me [:(]

my tamilian housemate in UK took me for the movie -first day,last show in Birmingham...enjoyed the movie..Rajni Rocks-mottai boss was cool,Shriya -hot!hot!hot!..So to repay the favour,I took around 15 friends of mine for the movie when I was in B'lore...
